Cronus Zen on Xbox — does it work?

Yes. Cronus Zen works on Xbox Series X using the same HDMI passthrough method. Connect the Zen to the Xbox controller USB port and use a wired Xbox controller. The GOD FLICK Xbox version (Titan Two compatible) uses the correct raw numeric input indices for Xbox button mapping.
