Fortnite Zero Build
Aim Assist 2026
Zero Build makes aim assist more important — not less. Engagements last longer and tracking matters more. Here's how to maximise it.
How Zero Build changes aim assist
In standard Fortnite, gunfights are often decided by build battles — aim assist matters less because encounters last 2–3 seconds. In Zero Build, fights drag out over multiple seconds of movement, peeking, and tracking. Sustained tracking is where rotational aim assist pays off the most.
ZenDaddy's DYN pattern is specifically valuable in Zero Build because it keeps rotational assist active during the stationary periods between cover. When you're holding an angle or tracking someone across open ground, the pattern keeps firing continuously — your crosshair follows the enemy even when your thumb isn't pushing.
Recommended settings for Zero Build
Zero Build fights require faster 180° turns — no builds to hide behind.
Strongest rotational pull in 2026. Exponential has stronger friction but weaker rotation.
Pattern P6 — keeps left stick moving permanently for continuous aim assist.
Slower pattern feels more natural for long-range Zero Build tracking.
Crouching in Zero Build is essential — it lowers your hitbox and triggers extra aim assist.
Re-triggers snap assist every ~90ms during firefights. No change needed from standard mode.
